Winter Exhibition and Reunion It's been many months since we had an exhibition opening due to major renovations and the ensuing mess which builders inevitably leave behind, but we are almost there and hopefully building works will be completed by 24th May. I am very excited by the changes and cant wait to share them with you! The Winter exhibition features new works by Rachel Rovay, a talented and acclaimed painter from Victoria and recent works by Bela Ivanyi which have been inspired by his frequent trips to the Northern Territory. In addition, we are fortunate to be able to offer for sale from a private collection several paintings from the D. H. Lawrence series of works by Garry Shead. We invite you to join us for drinks and a light supper on Friday 24th May from 6.30 pm and very much hope that you, your partner and friends will take this opportunity for a reunion with gallery staff, to meet the artists and renew friendships with fellow collectors particularly if we haven’t seen you for a while. Artists Rachel Rovay, Garry Shead, Bela Ivanyi, Robert Simpson and Patrick Shirvington will all be here on the night. For those of you who always loved the $500 and Under shows, and thrived on camping in the grounds, this will be a good time to catch up with acquaintances made over the years around the camp fires! In addition we have opened a special room with some beautiful works and amazing gift/collector opportunities for bargain hunters all priced at $350.
